Orosi Valley Tour

Updated: Jan 31, 2021

This incredible view begins the tour of the Orosi Valley where you’ll see the first church built in Costa Rica, the Orosi Dam, a wood carver’s shop, a hanging bridge, the oldest functioning church in Costa Rica as well as its museum of religious artefacts. We’ll have lunch in a wonderful local cafe with the best fried fish.

Jeff enhances tours of Costa Rica with his humor. The Orosi valley was breathtakingly beautiful and memorable.

A retired Spanish teacher from the United States, I now teach Spanish online and take people on tours of Costa Rica. Having studied at the Universidad de Costa Rica and lived with a host family, I gained a lot of knowledge about the culture, language and the sites to see.  I want to share that experience (see resume) with people who may want to travel, but who don't know how to begin. It's like traveling with a local who speaks English and Spanish!  You don't have to speak Spanish to travel with me, but it can enhance your experience. If you don't know any when we start, you will when we're done. Careful though; I might wear you out with fun!
